"Get Loved Up" is an original painting series about the primary love of self. The ability to look into your own eyes and love what you see – flaws and all. Honoring your unique beauty, pursuing your dreams and nurturing self. These acts of self care allow you to show up and give love to others. As an artist, creating these paintings was my way of getting loved up. Like getting caught up in the artistic process, the women in these portraits are wrapped in a cocoon of self assurance where the world of inner and outer beauty collide.
