Faded & Found: Gilded Rebellion is a series of figurative abstract paintings inspired by one of my mom's photo albums from the 1970s. Looking through those pages, I was struck by the sense of freedom and raw self-expression in every frame. More than anything, I could feel the connection among her friends—a specific kind of intimacy that felt both rebellious and incredibly bold.
Let's Stay Together, 2026 evokes a story of unstoppable, young love defying the norms during the electric energy of the 70s. I just love the couple's confident, casual stance and those iconic bell bottoms. Rendered in oil, acrylic, spray paint, metal leaf, marker on canvas.
